Casual

Sunlit room, sunrise balconies,
Curtains sailing on breezes,
A fantasy on bed-covers colored sunset,
Daydreams with you.

Cotton cardigan slipping slowly off shoulders,
Hair tousled gently, pencil precociously poised,
Thinking tirelessly of you,
Watching your eyes go dusk
Like a return to dawn,

The color fluctuating with the light,
The all-seeing window.
Unwound, doors shut, alone–yet not,
With you.

What shall we do?

So much just passes me by after such lovely read. I can’t help myself.

    What is she saying
    who would she meet
    drink coffee is Paris
    Or dance salsa beat

    Seeing the sky on fire
    draped with clouds
    sailing the ocean
    wave at crowds

    I am just dreaming
    not even knowing why
    all happen in a blink
    the blink of an eye!

As inspired by what you wrote:

      What is he doing?
Standing so close by yet eyes so distanced,
An outlier in a city of outcasts,
      Wanderer in a monotone crowd,
I’d follow but it feels as if I’m not allowed,
      Passerby, goodbye.

      Thank you for reading.
